We’re back, y’all, with the third installment of Things to Do This Weekend In Chicago! Summer is still upon us and there are a ton of great ways to experience the city while the weather is still warm!
Below are our top 5 picks for this week!
I know, this is a basic recommendation, and not one many of us who live in the city think of often – but hear me out. Navy Pier has been doing a ton of renovations over the last year and it’s worth checking out this weekend for many reasons.
First, take in a scenic, boozy tour of the lakefront with the Seadog City Winery Wine Flight Cruise. I haven’t taken the tour myself, but friends have and said it was a great time with breathtaking views. I’ve moved it to the top of my list of things to do before Summer ends with Shawn.
Have you been?
Also, before time runs out, don’t miss the AON Summer Fireworks display taking place over Navy Pier every Wednesday and Saturday from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

One of the city’s most iconic summer street fests celebrates its 34th year in 2017.
The sprawling fest takes place over several city blocks in the heart of Lincoln Park. Features 100-plus vendors, plenty of food, nearly 30 acts on two music stages, and a popular “Kids’ Carnival” area with tons of activities.
