In a small bowl, mix honey and cinnamon together until well combined. Set aside.
Cut both pears in half. Using a spoon, carefully core the middle pit of the pear. Also, to help the pears cook flatten when cooking, I typically cut a very small sliver off the back of the pear to help in lay flat.
With a spoon or brush, spread a small amount of the honey and cinnamon mixture across the top of each pear. You may find that it seeps a bit into the middle of the pear which is ok.
Add water to the bottom of the Instant Pot. Place all 4 pear halves on a trivet then lower the trivet into the Pot.
Place lid on the Instant Pot. Select the ‘Pressure Cook’ function on high and cook for 2 minutes.
Once the timer beeps, quick release all pressure. Carefully remove the lid.
Remove the trivet from the Instant Pot and set on a surface where they can cool for about 15 minutes.
Once the pears cool a bit, serve with a scoop of ice cream and top with your favorite toppings. We chose toffee crunch, walnuts and topped with the remaining honey cinnamon mixture. Yum!
