Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray donut pan or donut maker with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large bowl or mixer, add cake mix, water, oil and eggs and mix until well combined. Carefully add batter to donut pan or maker filling about 2/3 of the way. Be sure not to overfill.
Place in the oven and bake for 10-2 minutes or until a toothpick placed in the middle of donut comes out clean.
Once fully cooked, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
Once cooled completely, carefully cut each donut in half.
Place a generous scoop of ice cream onto the middle of one donut half and spread evenly to the edges with a spatula or back of a spoon. Place the rremaining half of the donut on top of the ice cream forming a sandwich.
Place ice cream sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 2-3 hours.
When ready to serve, roll half of the ice cream sandwich in your favorite topping and drizzle melted chocolate on top.
