Our love for this Anthropologies midi skirt runs deep.

Admittedly, I don’t shop at Anthropologie often, until this midi skirt caught my eye almost immediately.

As many of you may know, I am regularly on the hunt for pieces I can style multiple ways, for multiple occasions.  This Anthropologie midi skirt fit the bill for me right away.  The tiered layer and rich seasonal colors drew me in from afar.

A really close girlfriend of mine taught me a buying lesson a long time ago which I try desperately to follow to this day:

Before you buy this piece of clothing, can you tell me in less than 30 seconds three different ways you would wear it? If not, you don’t need it.”

Following this rule, I think I got to the three ways I’d style it in less than her 30 seconds.  First, I love it belted with taller boots as styled here.  Second, it also looks great with a more vibrant orange or ivory oversized sweater and ankle booties.  And last, I love it styled with a tank, belted, cute sandals for a more Summer/beach-like look.

Do you all shop at Anthro often?  I’d love to hear what you tend to purchase there most frequently?  Do you like home, accessories, clothing?

Gucci Belt Dupe

As a side note, I have been getting several questions via Instagram Stories about this (and the black version) Gucci belt.  It’s actually a dupe (not real), but are the closest thing to the real thing I have ever come across.  I did an entire live review of both this brown and black belts on my Instagram Stories.  If you want to take a closer look, feel free to see the ‘Shop My Favorites’ highlights.

The frequently asked question I receive is regarding the quality.  When I initially purchased, I was very hesitant.  The cost for two belts was less than $25.  Although I never want to lose money, I figured the risk/cost was low should they arrive and not be of the quality I was expecting.  The risk was worth it.

I could not be happier with both the quality of the leather and the overall look of the label.  I own a few (real) Gucci handbags and closely compared the labels on my bag compared to the belt and they are nearly identical.  Several of you have purchased from Stories and sent me messages expressing how much you love them, too!  Shop them below!

Armadio Tote

Last but not least, if you’re looking for a great, structured every day bag, snag this one from Armadio.  Armadio has been recognized as a master artisan by The Cut, Refinery29 and more for their incredible design and craftsmanship.  They believe in cutting out the middle-man to bring stunning Italian designs directly to you without the added cost.

The bag is a perfect shade of brown and perfect for the office or every day.  I am desperate to get my hands on this stunning Gardner Dark Green bag, too.  I’d love to hear what you think of their collection.

How would you style this Anthropologie midi skirt?
