Brooklyn Ankle Pants c/o || Swissvale Bomber Sweater c/o

Have y’all tried Athleta?  Anyone else as obsessed as much as I am?

Athleta has to be by far one of my favorite brands.  I just discovered them last winter while I was on the hunt for thermal black leggings.  Shawn is the sweetest, but I could tell he was tired of seeing me in my black cotton leggings which I rarely take off.

I stopped into a store and completely fell in love with their mixture of athletic and athleisure wear.  After that shopping trip, I was a committed fan.

Their pieces are the perfect marriage of casual and cool.  I recently invested in these hybrid tights.  I fell in love with the structured abrasion-resistant Trek Tech™ fabric with stretchy Sculptek Light™ piecing on the front/back of waistband and on the inside of the leg.  These pants are perfect for the weekend or can be paired with great sweater and sneakers.

The side stash pockets allow you to keep your smartphone and other essentials nearby when hiking trails or exploring around town.  I picked them up in both black and olive green.  Be on the lookout for another post featuring these pieces.

TODAY’S POST

Can we talk about the pieces in today’s post, too? Let’s start with these Brooklyn ankle pants.

This is one of those items I wish we were discussing in person so you could feel just how soft they and flexible they are.

With ribbed panels at the waist for mobility & comfort, these lightweight pants are made in Athleta’s Featherweight Stretch fabric and can be dressed up or down as you please.

I am obsessed with them for travel because they don’t wrinkle easily. I can also wear them on a flight and go directly to a business meeting or to the office without feeling as though I need to change.

Also, I can’t help but love Althleta’s commitment to the environment.  These pants are made from Recycled Poly, a supremely sleek fabric made from post-consumer plastic bottles that helps lessen our impact on the world.  How fabulous?

Tell us which Athleta pieces are your favorites, too!
