After last week’s post on How To Wear A Leopard Print Skirt 5 Ways (thank you all so much for the positive response!), you all mentioned you wanted to see another post on how to style your cute comfy lounge wear out of the house.
And, with so many of us investing in cute loungewear pieces, today is a good a time as every to share my take on how to get the most of those in your closet.
Today, I am excited to share with you how you can wear your cute comfy lounge clothes from home to brunch in a snap. I’ll break down my favorite pieces, where to shop them, how to style them and a review on fit and cost.

If you’re a regular reader here on A Lily Love Affair, you know the sweater blazers and cardigans from J.Crew are some of our favorite closet staples. I own this cardigan, and the shorter versions, in almost every color available.

I could likely do an entire post on 20 different ways to style a pair of joggers. These terry joggers are so comfortable and I wear them all the time. And, when I say all the time, I mean ALL.THE.TIME!
They are incredible comfortable, made with front pockets, have held up really well after more than 50+ washes and more. While I have a ton of ideas on how to style grey joggers, I also love them cozy with sneakers and a utility jacket.

How much fun is the tie dye trend? I, personally, am loving it!
I snagged this tie dye sweatshirt during the current 40% off sale and absolutely love it for lounging around the house or cocktails on a patio with Shawn. The vibrant blue hue and the price was pretty fantastic, as well.

I bought it with these cute vintage shorts (available in 4 colors) for home, but wanted to elevate the look for out of the house with highwaisted white denim jeans, sneakers and a denim jacket.
Speaking of sale and a denim jacket, now is a great time to snag a denim jacket, as well. I have had this denim jacket for close to 7 years now and I wear it constantly – especially during the Spring and Summer. It’s the perfect layering pieces.
As for sizing of this cute comfy tie dye sweatshirt, I ordered an XS, but it more fitted than most. If you are looking for it to be a bit more oversized, I would size up one size.

Similar to the long tan sweater cardigan, this sweatshirt cardigan is incredibly versatile. It can easily be taken from a cute comfy look on the couch to a statement piece for an afternoon on the town.
I love that this cardigan is made of a sweatshirt material. It’s so cozy, but can easily be elevated for a piece appropriate for the day. I love it paired with a dress, denim and heels, leather pants and – of course – with a band tee and sneakers.

Last but not least in our cute comfy lounge clothes round up is this really cute cropped sweatshirt. According to Shawn, this is his favorite look 🙂 I was initially hesitant to grab a sweatshirt that was cropped, but I really love the fit and pattern. Of course, to pull the look together from lounging to lunch simply throw on some cute sneakers, belt bag and you’re ready to go!
