Ever since I was a little girl, I have always had a passion for working with people. I have always been known as someone who’s energetic and loves to work the crowd.  I’ve always had large, close groups of friends, and have played group sports to feel part of a community.

When I got into college, I joined a sorority and immediately took the position of our philanthropy chair. Working closely with people, and those of my community, has always been a large part of who I am.

At the office, I am Director of over nearly 100+ associates with a deep passion for associate engagement and development. And at home, I am a youth volunteer cheerleading coach, and Shawn and I both are active advocates for the homeless community throughout Chicago.

Helping contribute positively to the community around me is a constant state of mind. With Shawn’s help, I am always thinking of ways we can positively contribute to those who may need it.

Whether it is being a mentor to a young associate at the office looking for guidance and leadership directive, a young cheerleader looking for a positive role model and sister to help guide her through the teen years, or a family in need of supplies, warm food, clothing and even a hug.

Shawn and I are always working hard to build a strong bond with those in our community and are in constant pursuit of bettering ourselves through those relationships. Our next pursuit is to join forces with an organization in Australia that provides the homeless community a chance to wash their clothes at their current location. Fingers crossed we can make this happen for them!

Remy Martin 1738 Berry Passion Cocktail

Ingredients:
3 oz. Blueberry Juice
3 oz. Pomegranate Juice
1 oz. Rémy Martin 1738 or Rémy Martin VSOP Cognac
Splash of lime juice (to taste)
Garnish with mint leaf and lemon zest for color

Instructions:
Mix all liquid contents in a cocktail mixer, shake contents for 10 seconds or until well mixed. Serve over ice and enjoy!
