Our Honest Experience With Rilastil || Rilastil Review

A friend recently asked me what make-up I have been using on my face as of late as my skin looked really clear (I’ve fought acne and redness for a number of years). I was surprised to find she was a bit shocked when I responded with ‘nothing’ as I have not used any make-up on my skin for the last year aside from mascara and lipstick.
Last week I shared on Instagram Stories a skincare line I’ve been using, Rilastil, to help combat a number of skincare issues I have faced since my early teens.
As I approach my late 30’s, I have done lots of research into anti-aging and acne fighting product lines that are a good fit for me skin care needs. I chose Rilastil, a complete skincare line that is safe, non-allergenic, and dermatologist recommended.
I have been using Rilastil now for the last several weeks and wanted to share both my thoughts on the line thus far. As well as, my routine and overall use of each skincare item. Since last weeks post, I received a number of emails with questions on the line as it is relatively new here in the US.
Also, wanted to share more details into my experience thus far in the event you are struggling to find a line that works well for you also.

WHY RILASTIL?
Here are a few things that really drew me towards the Rilastil skincare line over others:
1). The Rilastil line is wheat-derivitaive, caffeine and paraben-free. This makes the products safe for pregnant women by eliminating the potential increase in blood pressure and heart rate that caffeine can sometimes case.
Additionally, parabens are preservatives used in many beauty products, drugs and food to prevent the growth of fungus, mold and bacteria. Despite conflicting scientific evidence, there has been concern in recent years regarding their safety and potential for irritation.
2). The Rilastil line is dermatologically tested hypoallergenic. All products are formulated to minimize the risk of allergy.
3). Rilastil is also tested for Cobalt, Nickel, Chrome & Palladium. It has been found, even tiny quantities of these metals can cause skin sensitization. While no one intentionally adds them, these metals often find their way into skincare products via the water used to manufacture them. To ensure total product safety, Rilastil teats all of its products for these metals to ensure a minimum acceptable levels.

MY RILASTIL ROUTINE:
Below are the details regarding each item I have been using, how they fit into my daily routine, detailed product information and my thoughts thus far. If there are any questions you have regarding the line, I’d love to hear your thoughts or questions.
Rilastil Aqua Face Cleanser:
PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Ultra fresh cleansing gel removes impurities from skin’s surface without disturbing the skin’s barrier. Aqua Face Cleanser hydrates, soothes, and comforts dehydrated skin and may also be used as a refreshing body wash.
MY THOUGHTS & ROUTINE:
My morning and evening routine starts with washing my face with the Rilastil Aqua Face Cleanser. I have tried what seems like over two dozen different cleansers and facial scrubs over the years and I will say this one stacks up very well.
Before using the cleanser, I struggled to combat small acne bumps and blackheads I have developed along both of my forehead and jaw lines. After roughly one week, all small acne bumps and blackheads were significantly reduced if not entirely gone.
Are any of you like me in that after you have used a good exfoliate or cleanser, and your face feels really clean and smooth and you find yourself continue to touch your face in excitement? In the last several years I have only felt this way after using my Aveeno Facial Scrub pads – that is until I started using this Aqua cleanser.
Somehow Rilastil cleanser leaves my skin feeling smooth and radiant. I have only been really diligent about using it in the evenings before bead, but even this morning my face still feels soft and moisturized.
Rilastil Progression HD Brightness Intensifier
PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Transformative cream to help brighten, firm and strengthen maturing skin
MY ROUTINE & THOUGHTS:
Following a wash with the Aqua cleanser, I gently apply the brightness intensifier over my entire face and neck. It is a thicker moisturizer which I love as it equally makes my skin feel soft and moisturized all day.
I have been using the line now for roughly 3-4 weeks and have found a noticeable difference in my skins overall appearance. Although I would like to give it the full 12 weeks to report on the full progress, in this short time I have noticed fewer age spots (which I saw a lot of once I returned back from Arizona in March), more firmness, and more illumination.
Progression HD Brightness Activator:
PRODUCT INFORMATION:
Illuminating anti-aging serum to help lift, smooth and firm maturing skin.
MY ROUTINE & THOUGHTS:
At the lines recommendation, I have followed the use of the HD Brightness Intensifier with the Brightness Activator. Also a nice thick serum, I rub the activator over all of my face and neck. I am undertrain yet which of these two makes the most significant difference on my the overall brightness and firmness of my face, but it is working very well in fighting the overall aging of my skin as noted above for the Brightness Intensifier. It is also very possible, per the recommendation, that using both together is making the difference.
Progression HD Illuminating Eye Contour Cream:

Brightening eye cream to help firm and flight lines while increasing radiance.
MY THOUGHTS & ROUTINE:
There are a number of reason I have completely fallen in love with this product! First, I’ll start with the overall application. I have only been using the eye contour cream in the mornings.
The applicator tip is angled for ease of use and is cooling to the touch under your eyes (one of my favorite parts!). The actual cream is also slightly tinted to blend in well with any skin tone.
In the past, I have found eye creams burn my eyes or fall slightly short of my expectations in helping eliminate problems I face such as puffiness and dark circles (both of which are two of my biggest struggles!).
In the short time using the product, I have seen equally results as the other products such as less puffiness, a reduction in fine lines and age spots. I truly love the results I’ve seen thus far.
Volumizing Mascara:

Thickens and conditions lashes without clumping or flaking
MY THOUGHTS & ROUTINE:
As you read above, the only real make-up in my daily routine is mascara and lipstick. And as you can imagine, over the years, I honestly feel as though I have tried every brand of mascara out there – some expensive and others from the drugstore. I have only found a few that truly meet my standards when it comes to great mascara. This volumizing mascara, however, is one of the best! I have really long eyelashes and I typically find mascara leaving my lashes clumped together, is too overly thick and/or flakes throughout the day. I was so pleasantly surprised to find this mascara evenly applied across all of my lashes leaving them feeling healthy.
