The Spring Trench || Take Two

Happy Wednesday, all!

Is it really almost June?  Where has the time gone?  Does anyone else feel like they are going to urn the corner and we’ll be talking about the holidays?  For now, I plan to stay in a Summer state of mind!

What are your plans for the Summer?

I’m excited to share with you all a number of fun trips and activities we have planned around town this season.  There are tons of great restaurants opening, lake-front events, we’re headed to a Cubs game with American Express at the end of June and planning a trip to Savannah – just to name a few.  Let the Summer festivities begin!

In the meantime, let’s chat again, about Summer style.

Last week, I mentioned this incredible light blue spring trench.  It has truly been one of the best investments I’ve made this season.  I was hesitant at first thinking the color was really limiting.  Despite the fact I have lots of color in my closet, I wasn’t sure I’d have a lot to pair the spring trench with.  Then, it just happened.  It seemed all the other great seasonal pieces I was purchasing seemed to pair perfectly.

It’s a great addition to your closet!  I only wish it came in other great colors, too.  The fabric remains very cool and it flows like a gem!  If you did catch last week’s post for another look at how I styled the coat, see it here!
