Today, I am really excited to bring you inside our home to share the details of our master bedroom home renovation with EasyCare Ultra Premium Paint.
If you have been following the blog for some time, you may be aware Shawn and I spent the better part of last year completing a serious home renovation.
We spent several months ripping down and replacing walls, choosing flooring and light fixtures and living in small spaces while others were being built throughout our home. It was one of the more hectic, but exciting times for the Baun/Garrett household.
After the renovation was complete, we took several months choosing the write style and decor for each room – our master bedroom being last.
It’s really important to both Shawn and myself that our house is a good marriage between unique and inviting. We love bold colors with neutral decor.
So, when it came time to choose a paint for our master bedroom accent wall, we choose EasyCare Paint from our local True Value store. I love, love, love this stunning color, don’t you?

Why EasyCare Paint?

EasyCare Paint Review: Application & Quality
We have painted our fair share of rooms in our house (it’s actually one of my favorite things to do!) and I thought the quality of the paint was really exceptional.
I had read some EasyCare Paint reviews that mentioned the paint splattered, but that was not my experience. For the first time in a while, we had almost no mess around the space in any way. I wore a hat specifically to avoid getting paint in my hair, as I almost always do, but I had no splatter. Great news!
The paint was thick, spread evenly and dried quickly. I painted this accent wall with two coats in the same evening. After taping off the surrounding walls, I applied the first coat around 5:00, allowed it to dry for an hour and a half and applied the second coat around 7:30. Additionally for reference, I used about a half a gallon of paint for the wall with the two coats.
