Today, at your request, we are breaking down all the things we packed for our most recent trip to Bali!
Now, for this trip, I packed much differently than trips we have taken in the past. There were no high heels packed. No designer handbags. No over packing.
I knew with trips to waterfalls, beach clubs, and temples there would be little need for fancy dresses and designer garb. Instead, this trip was much more about flip flops and affordable swimsuits. Frankly, most days, I don’t think I wore much of my shoes at all.
Most of what I will highlight in today’s post is also available in our Vacation Shop – plus a ton more amazing vacation styles. If you’re headed somewhere warm soon, definitely take a peak.
Also, I recently posted on Instagram, I used to think I had to spend a lot of money on a swimsuit in order to get a great one that was stylish, fit well and made with quality. I was wrong. If you’re looking for what to wear in Bali – or any upcoming vacation – see the options below. There are several really affordable options perfect for the warmer weather ahead!

Ok, so the one exception to the ‘causal packing list’ I mentioned above was this dress. I did know we would travel to a number of destinations I would want a more fancy, flowing chiffon dress. This one was the one. And, I have to say, these photos do it no justice. It’s lovely.
It is now on sale and will be the perfect dress for any Spring and Summer occasion you have this upcoming season. If you want to see it ‘in person,’ see our Instagram Stories under ‘Shop Our Favorites’ highlight.

In my opinion, no vacation is complete without a classic straw bag. And, I am obsessed with all things Patricia Nash. I wrote a post last week, ‘Queue Spring with Patricia Nash‘ detailing our favorite pieces from her Spring collection. Check it out and let me know which piece is your favorite.
In the look book below, I have also included 24 other straw bags you’ll love!

This skirt was one of my favorite pieces on this trip to Bali. I purchased it as a casual skirt, but I wore it as a beach cover up everywhere we went. Great news, it’s now on sale!!
Also, I bought this amazing bag just before I jumped on the plane. It is even better in person! And very affordable! Snag this woven shopper here!

I spent a tad bit more ($128) on this swimsuit as opposed to many of the others on this vacation and it was worth it. I love all things Albion Fit and this swimsuit was so lovely. The mesh detail really won my heart. And, you HAVE to see the back! It’s also available in petite sizes.
For reference, I am 5’0 and about 115 ibs. I purchased the small, but could have afforded the petite small based on the length.

If there is anything you buy for your next vacation, it should definitely be these killer shorts! I purchased them last Spring and have worn them more than 50 times since they were purchased.
Again, for reference, I purchased them in a 27 and had the waist taken in just a tad. It only cost me about $10 to have them taken in and I am so glad I did. They are so worth the purchase, y’all.

When I shared this dress on Instagram Stories before our trip this was one of your favorites. And, it’s for good reason. This palm print dress is perfect for the upcoming season. It’s really light and breezy. And, the palm print is so much fun.
The top of the dress is made of a mesh, stretch material giving you lots of room to breathe. It’s affordable and adorable. 🙂

I wore this Wayf Imola Tiered Midi Dress last Spring and Summer and knew it would be the perfect breezy dress to pack for Bali. This particular dress is now sold out, but the Wayf collection always has a ton of great pieces at affordable prices. I have included a few of my favorites below.
