Who can resist these easy apple bites snacks?
Not only are these apple bite snacks healthy, delicious and so easy to make – they are also completely customizable and so fun for everyone in the family.
I shared them today on Instagram Stores and the response was so positive. At your request, I figured I’d share in a full recipe post.
For our family, I topped the apple slices with both peanut butter and yogurt. Then, topped each slice with a combination of sweet and savory fun. If you’re feeling extra, drizzle some caramel or chocolate sauce on top, too!
Here are a few of my favorite toppings to add:
- 90% Coco chunks
- Dried Cranberries
- Sea Salt Almonds (I smashed mine into small chunks as opposed to whole pieces)
- Granola Crunch with Flax Seeds
- Banana Slices
- Sunflower Seeds
- Heath Crunch
- Crunched Peanuts

To make these snackable treats, slice apples of any kind into thin slices. I used a v-blade mandoline for a more thin apple slice. While the boys in the house liked the thin slices, I could have gone for a slightly thicker slice. That’s what great about these apple bites snacks – you can create them however you might like.
Once you have sliced your apples to your desired thickness, add a layer of yogurt or peanut butter. I personally liked the yogurt over the peanut butter. Although I have not tried it myself, you could also add a thin layer of honey or jam of your choice. One apple fed our family of four.
