WHAT TO WEAR WITH WOMENS LINEN SHORTS
As I mentioned above, there are so many great ways to style womens linen shorts. They are the perfect shorts to take you from brunch to date night. In the we are sharing today, we wanted to incorporate pieces you likely already have in your closet. Here are just a few of our favorite ways we love to wear linen shorts.
BLACK BLAZER
If you are looking for a way to dress up your linen shorts, a black blazer is the way to go. I love this oversized option from Mango, but any black blazer will do. Throw on a white tank, black tank, graphic tee, some gold or silver jewelry and either sneakers or heels and you have a pulled together look for brunch with the girls or date night with the beau.
GRAPHIC OR BAND TEE
You can never go wrong pairing your linen shorts with a great graphic tee or band tee. Throw on your favorite sneakers, a cross-body belt bag and you’re good for a weekend on the go. Graphic and band tee’s don’t need to break the bank either. You can often find cute, affordable options at Nordstrom, ASOS and more.
WHITE TEE, TANK OR BUTTON DOWN TOP
Thanks to the recent stay at home orders, I have pulled out my classic white tees, tanks and button downs as often as I have my favorite PJ’s. What I love about a white tee or tank is they can literally be paired with just about anything. Dress them up by pairing your linen shorts with a blazer and heels or thrown them together with flats, sandals and a statement bag for a slightly more casual, but classy look.

These cute tan linen shorts we’re featuring today are from Abercrombie, but their collection is far more extenstive. Options include cute paper bag linen shorts in colors such as light blue and mint green. Also available are tie waist shorts, pocketed shorts, belted linen shorts and more! We’re detailing sizing for Abercrombie shorts below, but quickly, I normally purcahse Abercrombie shorts in a size small or 27.
H&M
H&M offers almost two dozen womens linen shorts options. You can choose from drawstring shorts, tie waist, stripe linen shorts, highwaisted shorts, washed organic linen and so much more! The best part is their collection is almost all under $30 – many under $20, as well! In terms of sizing, I normally wear an XS/Small or 2-4. In some cases I have needed to size up to a 6.
Madwell has an extensive selection of womens linen shorts. Styles available range in style including washed organic linen, bermuda linen shorts, knee length and mid-length linen shorts, paper bag shorts and in so many colors and patterns. The prices range between $29.99 to $75. As for sizing, I am notmally a 27 or small in Madwell pants and shorts.

ABERCROMBIE LINEN SHORTS REVIEW
If you are looking to purchase these linen highwaisted shorts from Abercrombie, there are a few things to note about sizing.
First and foremost, these cute linen cotton blend shorts some in 4 different colors. However, I don’t think all of the colors fit the same. I purchased these tan pair in a size small, but needed a size medium in the stripe linen short style. For whatever reason, the stripe pair seems to be more fitted in the legs and waist compared to the tan and black.
They do seem to be well made and seem to hold up nicely.
